Designing for the Masters of light
No-one does light like Legio.
The Danish company specialises in exclusive architectural solutions within lighting and interior design solutions. A company offering consultancy, custom built solutions and a range of international high-end designer brands.
Our task was to elevate Legio's website from showcasing lamps and lights to reflecting the full range of services that Legio offers. The site must represent their visual aesthetics and unique lighting philosophy, and through this create an emotional drive within customers to visit the physical showroom.
A design that highlight designers
To create a website that showcases amazing design products and the visions of the people of Legio, it is evident the layout doesn’t take over. We needed to both consider a smooth user journey and at the same time allow Legio’s products and beautiful cases take center stage. To compliment Legio’s designers we worked with a light design (pun intended) allowing great diversity in the content, playing with contrasts in both light/dark as well as typographies.
Making room for light
The design makes Legio’s beautiful content stand out, and with an elegant, floating grid we ensure a light sensation that suits Legio’s products and services perfectly. We also carefully considered a dynamic UI to compliment the airy feeling of the site, displaying Legio’s content in an intuitive way.
