Scanlux is one of Scandinavia’s biggest packaging companies – catering to all industries – with a primary focus on lifestyle. They design, develop, and produce packaging for both retail and e-commerce. Scanlux needed a strong and unique profile in a homogenous competitor landscape. They also wanted to stress their expertise more clearly in e-commerce.

Unboxing Scanlux

Intense research began, exploring the Scanlux brand DNA and possibilities. Through thorough data analysis and interviews within target groups as well as vital internal stakeholders, we discovered an available and desirable position to claim. We needed to showcase their inner designer, rather than an industrial cardboard supplier.

We want to showcase how Scanlux’ creativity always inspires great expectations and creates lasting memories.

Imprinting brand memories

With a new pay-off, IMPRINTING BRAND MEMORIES, we created a B2B campaign portraying what an experience great packaging can be for a retail or e-commerce brand. An exciting and moving unboxing moment should be worth remembering or even sharing.

Bold & Bright

To emphasise the new position as creative and innovative designers, Scanlux needed a strong brand identity. We created a universe of bright, bold colours, soft circles, new typographies, and a zestier tone of voice.

The Logo Jive

We stretched the wire to test the elasticity of the name and developed a new logo with a tighter, modern feel, allowing the dot over the “i” playfully act as a full stop. We also changed the priority of the logo to strategically put weight on what business Scanlux is in.

Electrify your content

We created a whole new playful style of photography, placing the products centre stage and adding film and animations as a part of the packshot universe.

More than a shop

After mapping relevant user journeys and analyzing traffic data, we created a new strategy that allowed inspiration and branding a prominent placement in the webshop. We designed a new digital presence for Scanlux with e-commerce website, branding pages and log-in based client pages based on strategic user experience.
